NASA: 104 Planets That Decent Populated For Human

Kepler mission the U.S. space agency ( National Aeronautics and Space Administration / NASA ) found hundreds of alien planets , including 104 potential new world supporting life .

Scientists who participated in the hunt for NASA's Kepler mission announced the discovery of 833 new planet candidates in a press conference on November 5 , adding the total number of candidates to 3,538 candidate planets world .

Than 104 planets that are potentially habitable , 10 of which are not much different from the size of the Earth .

" We are beginning to enter a new era of exploration of our galaxy , " said William Borucki , Kepler principal investigator at NASA Ames Research Center in Moffett Field , California , where scientists discussed the latest discoveries in exoplanet Kepler Science Conference .

The new planets were identified increasing the number of the world 's Kepler space telescope about 29 percent last update in January.

Kepler mission , launched in 2009 aimed to determine the fraction of stars in the Milky Way galaxy which became the Earth-sized planets orbiting in the habitable zone .

During the four years of telescope Kepler saw one patch of sky in the constellation Cygnus , looking very small holes in the light of the stars that indicate a planet passing in front of , or transiting their stars .

Search has found strange worlds such as hot Jupiters that orbit very close to their parent stars , such as world - Neptune , and ' Super Earth ' .

The scientists announced the first planet in the habitable zone named Kepler 22 - b at the Kepler Science Conference two years ago .

Researchers are now showing most of the stars in the galaxy has at least one such planet .

Kepler stop data collection on May 11, 2013 due to a failure when two wheels on the reaction plane . But Kepler is not going to stop . Scientists will continue search of new planets .

Borucki added that scientists will find more the smallest planets similar to Earth again .

" There's a full year of data that has not been analyzed , " Borucki said as quoted by LiveScience page .

Independent analysis of the data Kepler has found one of the five stars like the sun is in the habitable zone .
